Someone to help translate updates and in meetings.  Also someone to help engage Spanish speaking parents and residents so we can be more inclusive and communicate more broadly.

Help update PTA board on project status.  Help with communication vehicles like web site updates, newsletters etc..

Community Outreach

Participating in neighborhood meetings and updating neighborhood list serve to share plans / vision and solicit input. Encouraging people to turn up for work parties, provide input to design, interview their neighbors for ideas  etc..?  Are you already in neighborhood group – arts group, business group, parent group, church group?  Would you be willing to share details about this project to your group members?

Fundraising – Corporate Outreach

There are tons of fundraising options we can tap into.  There are some companies within the South Park area that we can solicit for help – whether money, materials, participation in work days.  Apparently there are construction companies, metal shops, nurseries – all great targets for some fund raising efforts.   

Can you help us identify who these are and would you be willing to help write letters about our project?  It would be great to have a team of about 3-4 for this workstream.

Volunteer management

Tracking volunteer hours for grant criteria, sign-ups for work-days.  Tracking and managing match hours, pledges, donations.
